Promoting Tourism Circles and Industry Alliances
In 2022, the 13 national scenic area headquarters under the Tourism Bureau invested in tourism circle development. Seventeen tourism circles were established and introduced high-quality itineraries and related products highlighting interregional sharing, branding, innovative tours, digital transformation, and precision marketing. The tourism circles also collaborated with e-commerce platforms to launch innovative tours, market local specialty agricultural products and souvenir gifts, and support the digital transformation of local businesses.
A total of 131 product presentations, consensus meetings, and media exchange events were held through cooperation and resource sharing by tourism circles and alliances and central government ministries and departments. These activities led to a redesign/restyling of 194 commercial areas, the development of 208 specially-designed local products, and the launching via the website of 254 innovative tours, 790 commercial products and 263 tour packages. In addition, 67 videos were produced to enhance promotional benefits; and 87 Fam tours and 47 achievement presentations were organized.
