A total of 812,236 visitors arrived in the Republic of China in November, 2025, up 64,436 or 8.62% from the 747,800 in November of last year. The arrivals included 672,383 foreign visitors and 139,853 Overseas Chinese. Compared with November of last year, the number of foreign visitors up by 69,583 or 11.54%, and the number of Overseas Chinese visitors decline by 5,147 or 3.55%.

1. Main markets by residence
   1. Mainland China accounted for 48,755 or 6.00% of the total, decline 0.14%, consisting of 1,421 foreign visitors, up 89.47% and 47,334 Overseas Chinese, decline 1.54%.
   2. Hong Kong and Macao, 101,102 or 12.45% of the total, up 0.95%, consisting of 9,674 foreign visitors, up 107.42%, and 91,428 Overseas Chinese, decline 4.25%.
   3. Japan accounted for 162,654 or 20.03% of the total, up 12.18%, consisting of 162,595 foreign visitors, up 12.21%, and 59 Overseas Chinese, decline 37.89%.
   4. Korea, 102,217 or 12.58% of the total, up 2.74%, consisting of 102,103 foreign visitors, up 2.80%, and 114 Overseas Chinese, decline 32.14%.
   5. Southeast Asia, 236,956 or 29.17% of the total, up 10.74%, consisting of 236,668 foreign visitors, up 10.78%, and 288 Overseas Chinese, decline 17.24%.
   6. U.S.A., 74,500 or 9.17% of the total, up 13.19%, consisting of 74,053 foreign visitors, up 13.44%, and 447 Overseas Chinese, decline 17.38%.
   7. Australia and New Zealand, 13,579 or 1.67% of the total, up 21.10%, consisting of 13,559 foreign visitors, up 21.28%, and 20 Overseas Chinese, decline 39.39%.
   8. Europe, 45,191 or 5.56% of the total, up 35.35%, consisting of 45,169 foreign visitors, up 35.50%, and 22 Overseas Chinese, decline 57.69%.
   9. Other countries or regions accounted for 27,282 or 3.36% of the total, decline 8.85%, consisting of 27,141 foreign visitors, decline 8.71%, and 141 Overseas Chinese, decline 29.85%.
2. Main markets by country of nationality
   1. There were 161,778 visitors from Japan accounting for 19.92% of the total. This was up 17,012 or 11.75%, from the number in the same month last year.
   2. There were 102,985 visitors from Korea accounting for 12.68% of the total. This was up 2,467, or 2.45%, from the number in the same month last year.
   3. There were 237,162 visitors from Southeast Asia accounting for 29.20% of the total. This was up 21,815 or 10.13%, from the number in the same month last year.
   4. There were 75,347 visitors from U.S.A. accounting for 9.28% of the total. This was up 8,812 or 13.24%, from the number in the same month last year.
   5. There were 14,283 visitors from Australia and New Zealand accounting for 1.76% of the total. This was up 2,184 or 18.05%, from the number in the same month last year.
   6. There were 51,624 visitors from Europe accounting for 6.36% of the total. This was up 12,236, or 31.07%, from the number in the same month last year. Visitors from U.K., Germany, and France accounted for 1.27% (10,350 people), 1.10% (8,927 people), and 0.93% (7,547 people) of the total which were up 18.45%, up 29.45% ,and 31.25% from the number in the same month last year.
   7. Other nationals accounted for 29,204 or 3.60%,5,057 or 20.94%.
   8. Overseas Chinese visitors accounted for 139,853 or 17.22% decline 5,147 or 3.55%. Overseas Chinese visitors from Hong Kong and Macao accounted for 91,428 or 65.37%, of the total Overseas Chinese visitors.
3.  Main markets by type of visitor
   1. Mode of transportation and port of entry: There were 812,236 visitors, 94.52% by air of whom 767,691. 636,603 visitors or 78.38% through the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, 61,938 visitors or 7.63% through Kaohsiung Airport. Meanwhile, there were 5.48% by sea of whom 44,545. 2,040 visitors or 0.25% through Kaohsiung port, 21,384 visitors or 2.63% through Keelung, 590 visitors or 0.07% through Taichung.
   2. Gender: Male visitors accounted for 47.61% (386,692 people) while female were 52.39% (425,544 people).
   3. Age: There were 65,067 (8.01%) visitors under 19-year-old, 348,227 (42.87%) between 20 to 39-year-old, 257,046 (31.65%) between 40 to 59-year-old, and 141,896 (17.47%) over 60-year-old.
   4. Purpose of visit: The main purposes are Leisure, business, and relatives visiting with 594,684 (73.22%), 54,484 (6.71%), and 24,461 (3.01%) visitors.
   5. Length of stay: Most of visitors, 200,630 people or 24.78%, stayed 3 nights. Visitors staying for 5-7 nights, 128,449 people or 15.86%, ranked second. Visitors stayed for 2 nights, 118,252 people or 14.60%, ranked third. The average length of stay of visitors leaving in November was 6.45 nights.
