A total of 586,226 visitors arrived in the Republic of China in July, 2025, up 46,772 or 8.67% from the 539,454 in July of last year. The arrivals included 426,940 foreign visitors and 159,286 Overseas Chinese. Compared with July of last year, the number of foreign visitors up by 39,516 or 10.20%, and the number of Overseas Chinese visitors up by 7,256 or 4.77%.

- Mainland China accounted for 54,341 or 50.80% of the total, up 9.27%, consisting of 1,213 foreign visitors, up 77.34% and 53,128 Overseas Chinese, up 50.29%.
- Hong Kong and Macao, 113,274 or 19.32% of the total, decline 5.12%, consisting of 8,513 foreign visitors, up 93.48%, and 104,761 Overseas Chinese, decline 8.89%.
- Japan accounted for 85,826 or 14.64% of the total, up 16.40%, consisting of 85,732 foreign visitors, up 16.42%, and 94 Overseas Chinese, up 1.08%.
- Korea, 49,885 or 8.51% of the total, decline 3.44%, consisting of 49,728 foreign visitors, decline 3.44%, and 157 Overseas Chinese, decline 4.85%.
- Southeast Asia, 172,620 or 29.45% of the total, up 12.81%, consisting of 172,253 foreign visitors, up 12.84%, and 367 Overseas Chinese, decline 1.61%.
- U.S.A., 56,835 or 9.70% of the total, up 5.42%, consisting of 56,304 foreign visitors, up 5.78%, and 531 Overseas Chinese, decline 22.48%.
- Australia and New Zealand, 8,145 or 1.39% of the total, up 15.96%, consisting of 8,131 foreign visitors, up 16.16%, and 14 Overseas Chinese, decline 41.67%.
- Europe, 27,479 or 4.69% of the total, up 13.84%, consisting of 27,390 foreign visitors, up 14.10%, and 89 Overseas Chinese, decline 33.58%.
- Other countries or regions accounted for 17,821 or 3.04% of the total, decline 13.27%, consisting of 17,676 foreign visitors, decline 13.02%, and 145 Overseas Chinese, decline 35.27%.
- Main markets by country of nationality
- There were 85,890 visitors from Japan accounting for 14.65% of the total. This was up 11,974 or 16.20%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 50,248 visitors from Korea accounting for 8.57% of the total. This was decline 1,625, or 3.13%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 173,032 visitors from Southeast Asia accounting for 29.52% of the total. This was up 19,757 or 12.89%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 57,375 visitors from U.S.A accounting for 9.79% of the total. This was up 3,314 or 6.13%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 8,931 visitors from Australia and New Zealand accounting for 1.52% of the total. This was up 994 or 12.52%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 32,031 visitors from Europe accounting for 5.46% of the total. This was up 3,761, or 13.30%, from the number in the same month last year. Visitors from U.K., Germany, and France accounted for 1.23% (7,239 people), 0.68% (3,988 people), and 0.84% (4,949 people) of the total which were up 8.81%, up 8.25% ,and up 18.77% from the number in the same month last year.
- Other nationals accounted for 19,433 or 3.31%, up 1,341 or 7.41%.
- Overseas Chinese visitors accounted for 159,286 or 27.17% up 7,256 or 4.77%. Overseas Chinese visitors from Hong Kong and Macao accounted for 104,761 or 65.76%, of the total Overseas Chinese visitors.

- Mode of transportation and port of entry: There were 586,226 visitors, 95.61% by air of whom 560,506. 454,440 visitors or 77.52% through the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, 53,075 visitors or 9.05% through Kaohsiung Airport. Meanwhile, there were 4.39% by sea of whom 25,720. 3,459 visitors or 0.59% through Kaohsiung port, 3,157 visitors or 0.54% through Keelung, 1,130 visitors or 0.19% through Taichung.
- Gender: Male visitors accounted for 48.77% (285,901 people) while female were 51.23% (300,325 people).
- Age: There were 80,391 (13.71%) visitors under 19-year-old, 262,770 (44.82%) between 20 to 39-year-old, 185,581 (31.66%) between 40 to 59-year-old, and 57,484 (9.81%) over 60-year-old.
- Purpose of visit: The main purposes are Leisure, business, and relatives visiting with 372,608 (63.56%), 22,414 (3.82%), and 35,135 (5.99%) visitors.
- Length of stay: Most of visitors, 109,119 people or 18.90%, stayed 3 nights. Visitors staying over 90 nights, 88,171 people or 15.27%, ranked second. Visitors stayed for 5-7 nights, 82,066 people or 14.22%, ranked third. The average length of stay of visitors leaving in July was 7.90 nights.
