A total of 606,346 visitors arrived in the Republic of China in June, 2025, up 34,836 or 6.10% from the 571,510 in June of last year. The arrivals included 466,939 foreign visitors and 139,407 Overseas Chinese. Compared with June of last year, the number of foreign visitors up by 32,545 or 7.49%, and the number of Overseas Chinese visitors up by 2,291 or 1.67%.

1. Main markets by residence
   1. Mainland China accounted for 46,060 or 7.60% of the total, up 48.97%, consisting of 1,206 foreign visitors, up 53.44% and 44,854 Overseas Chinese, up 48.86%.
   2. Hong Kong and Macao, 101,484 or 16.74% of the total, decline 7.41%, consisting of 8,375 foreign visitors, up 82.03%, and 93,109 Overseas Chinese, decline 11.33%.
   3. Japan accounted for 92,741 or 15.30% of the total, up 21.85%, consisting of 92,671 foreign visitors, up 21.92%, and 70 Overseas Chinese, decline 28.57%.
   4. Korea, 47,804 or 7.88% of the total, decline 7.46%, consisting of 47,674 foreign visitors, decline 7.48%, and 130 Overseas Chinese, up 0%.
   5. Southeast Asia, 203,455 or 33.55% of the total, up 11.06%, consisting of 203,126 foreign visitors, up 11.18%, and 329 Overseas Chinese, decline 32.99%.
   6. U.S.A., 68,250 or 11.26% of the total, decline 0.60%, consisting of 67,506 foreign visitors, decline 0.23%, and 744 Overseas Chinese, decline 25.60%.
   7. Australia and New Zealand, 8,403 or 1.39% of the total, up 0.96%, consisting of 8,386 foreign visitors, up 1.10%, and 17 Overseas Chinese, decline 39.29%.
   8. Europe, 22,506 or 3.71% of the total, up 1.75%, consisting of 22,477 foreign visitors, up 1.95%, and 29 Overseas Chinese, decline 59.15%.
   9. Other countries or regions accounted for 15,643 or 2.58% of the total, decline 25.27%, consisting of 15,518 foreign visitors, decline 25.29%, and 125 Overseas Chinese, decline 23.31%.
2. Main markets by country of nationality
   1. There were 92,521 visitors from Japan accounting for 15.26% of the total. This was up 16,173 or 21.18%, from the number in the same month last year.
   2. There were 48,230 visitors from Korea accounting for 7.95% of the total. This was decline 3,714, or 7.15%, from the number in the same month last year.
   3. There were 203,310 visitors from Southeast Asia accounting for 33.53% of the total. This was up 20,483 or 11.20%, from the number in the same month last year.
   4. There were 68,474 visitors from U.S.A. accounting for 11.29% of the total. This was up 187 or 0.27%, from the number in the same month last year.
   5. There were 9,192 visitors from Australia and New Zealand accounting for 1.52% of the total. This was decline 17 or 0.18%, from the number in the same month last year.
   6. There were 27,333 visitors from Europe accounting for 4.51% of the total. This was up 307, or 1.14%, from the number in the same month last year. Visitors from U.K., Germany, and France accounted for 1.16% (7,022 people), 0.60% (3,615 people), and 0.64% (3,897 people) of the total which were up 4.15%, decline 5.22% ,and up 8.16% from the number in the same month last year.
   7. Other nationals accounted for 17,879 or 2.95%, decline 874 or 4.66%.
   8. Overseas Chinese visitors accounted for 139,407 or 22.99% up 2,291 or 1.67%. Overseas Chinese visitors from Hong Kong and Macao accounted for 93,109 or 66.79%, of the total Overseas Chinese visitors.
3.  Main markets by type of visitor
   1. Mode of transportation and port of entry: There were 606,346 visitors, 95.01% by air of whom 576,087. 473,706 visitors or 78.12% through the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, 50,318 visitors or 8.30% through Kaohsiung Airport. Meanwhile, there were 4.99% by sea of whom 30,259. 5,821 visitors or 0.96% through Kaohsiung port, 5,828 visitors or 0.96% through Keelung, 1,037 visitors or 0.17% through Taichung.
   2. Gender: Male visitors accounted for 49.21% (298,374 people) while female were 50.79% (307,972 people).
   3. Age: There were 64,445 (10.63%) visitors under 19-year-old, 272,057 (44.87%) between 20 to 39-year-old, 195,048 (32.17%) between 40 to 59-year-old, and 74,796 (12.34%) over 60-year-old.
   4. Purpose of visit: The main purposes are Leisure, business, and relatives visiting with 395,620 (65.25%), 26,435 (4.36%), and 33,311 (5.49%) visitors.
   5. Length of stay: Most of visitors, 120,108 people or 19.16%, stayed 3 nights. Visitors staying 5-7 nights, 101,449 people or 16.18%, ranked second. Visitors stayed for 2 nights, 89,072 people or 14.21%, ranked third. The average length of stay of visitors leaving in June was 7.38 nights.
