The arrivals included 17,826 foreign visitors and 2,210 Overseas Chinese. Compared with March of last year, the number of foreign visitors increased by 1,735 or 10.78%, and the number of Overseas Chinese visitors decreased by 105 or -4.54%.

- Hong Kong and Macao, 701 or 3.50% of the total, down 10.70%, consisting of 30 foreign visitors, up 150%, and 671 Overseas Chinese, down 13.20%.
- Japan accounted for 1,281 or 6.39% of the total, up 31.93%, consisting of 1,263 foreign visitors, up 31.84%, and 18 Overseas Chinese, up 38.46%.
- Korea, 406 or 2.03% of the total, up 29.30%, consisting of 397 foreign visitors, up 29.32%, and 9 Overseas Chinese, up 28.57%.
- Southeast Asia, 12,205 or 60.92% of the total, up 5.42%, consisting of 12,136 foreign visitors, up 5.12%, and 69 Overseas Chinese, up 109.09%.
- U.S.A., 1,005 or 5.02% of the total, up 22.71%, consisting of 845 foreign visitors, up 27.07%, and 160 Overseas Chinese, up 3.90%.
- Australia and New Zealand, 124 or 0.62% of the total, up 45.88%, consisting of 104 foreign visitors, up 26.83%, and 20 Overseas Chinese, up 566.67%.
- Europe, 1,900 or 9.48% of the total, up 20.87%, consisting of 1,864 foreign visitors, up 20.10%, and 36 Overseas Chinese, up 80%.
- Other countries or regions accounted for 1,232 or 6.15% of the total, up 23.08%, consisting of 1,186 foreign visitors, up 23.28%, and 46 Overseas Chinese, up 17.95%.

- There were 1,262 visitors from Japan accounting for 6.30% of the total. This was up 306 or 32.01%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 400 visitors from Korea accounting for 2% of the total. This was up 90, or 29.03%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 12,133 visitors from Southeast Asia accounting for 60.56% of the total. This was up 588 or 5.09%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 852 visitors from U.S.A accounting for 4.25% of the total. This was up 183 or 27.35%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 105 visitors from Australia and New Zealand accounting for 0.52% of the total. This was up 21, or 25%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 1,877 visitors from Europe accounting for 9.37% of the total. This was up 314, or 20.09%, from the number in the same month last year. Visitors from U.K., Germany, and France accounted for 2.08% (416 people), 0.97% (194 people), and 0.75% (150 people) of the total which were up 30.82%, up 18.29%, and up 40.19% from the number in the same month last year.

- Overseas Chinese visitors accounted for 2,210 or 11.03%, down 105 or -4.54%. Overseas Chinese visitors from Hong Kong and Macao accounted for 671 or -69.64%, of the total Overseas Chinese visitors.

- Mode of transportation and port of entry: There were 20,036 visitors, 92.48% by air of whom 18,530. 17,722 visitors or 88.45% through the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, 203 visitors or 1.01% through Kaohsiung Airport. Meanwhile, there were 7.52% by sea of whom 1,506. 607 visitors or 3.03% through Kaohsiung port, 322 visitors or 1.61% through Keelung, 382 visitors or 1.91% through Taichung.
- Gender: Male visitors accounted for 66.56% (13,336 people) while female were 33.44% (6,700 people).
- Age: There were 1,425 (7.11%) visitors under 19-year-old, 12,886 (64.31%) between 20 to 39-year-old, 4,999 (24.95%) between 40 to 59-year-old, and 726 (3.62%) over 60-year-old.
- Purpose of visit: The main purposes are Leisure, business, and relatives visiting with 9 (0.04%), 1,611 (8.04%), and 785 (3.92%) visitors.
- Length of stay: Most of visitors, 16,832 people or 79.83%, stayed over 90 nights. Visitors staying 31-60 nights, 1,256 people or 5.96%, ranked second. Visitors stayed for 16-30 nights, 859 people or 4.07%, ranked third. The average length of stay of visitors leaving in March was 31.80 nights.
