Compared with February of last year, the number of foreign visitors decreased by 232,076 or -41.30%, and the number of Overseas Chinese visitors decreased by 366,769 or -93.03%.

- Hong Kong and Macao, 22,186 or 6.21% of the total, down 81.44%, consisting of 1,046 foreign visitors, down 86.99%, and 21,140 Overseas Chinese, down 81.04%.
- Japan accounted for 114,053 or 31.92% of the total, down 21.30%, consisting of 113,941 foreign visitors, down 21.30%, and 112 Overseas Chinese, down 18.25%.
- Korea, 22,486 or 6.29% of the total, down 80.35%, consisting of 22,295 foreign visitors, down 80.45%, and 191 Overseas Chinese, down 46.94%.
- Southeast Asia, 144,931 or 40.56% of the total, down 27.42%, consisting of 144,358 foreign visitors, down 27.42%, and 573 Overseas Chinese, down 27.19%.
- U.S.A., 18,776 or 5.25% of the total, down 52.09%, consisting of 18,626 foreign visitors, down 52.10%, and 150 Overseas Chinese, down 51.61%.
- Australia and New Zealand, 3,787 or 1.06% of the total, down 50.41%, consisting of 3,774 foreign visitors, down 50.47%, and 13 Overseas Chinese, down 18.75%.
- Europe, 15,179 or 4.25% of the total, down 43.29%, consisting of 15,161 foreign visitors, down 43.28%, and 18 Overseas Chinese, down 51.35%.
- Other countries or regions accounted for 10,419 or 2.92% of the total, down 49.39%, consisting of 10,324 foreign visitors, down 49.30%, and 95 Overseas Chinese, down 57.01%.

- There were 113,376 visitors from Japan accounting for 31.73% of the total. This was down 31,316 or -21.64%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 22,475 visitors from Korea accounting for 6.29% of the total. This was down 91,939, or -80.36%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 143,958 visitors from Southeast Asia accounting for 40.28% of the total. This was down 54,439, or 27.44%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 19,071 visitors from U.S.A accounting for 5.34% of the total. This was down 21,535, or 53.03%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 3,872 visitors from Australia and New Zealand accounting for 1.08% of the total. This was down 5,069, or -56.69%, from the number in the same month last year.
- There were 16,343 visitors from Europe accounting for 4.57% of the total. This was down 15,635, or -48.89%, from the number in the same month last year. Visitors from U.K., Germany, and France accounted for 0.82% (2,919 people), 0.77% (2,738 people), and 0.86% (3,063 people) of the total which were down 64.02%, down 46.45%, and down 41.22% from the number in the same month last year.

- Overseas Chinese visitors accounted for 27,459 or 7.68%, down 366,769 or -93.03%. Overseas Chinese visitors from Hong Kong and Macao accounted for 21,140, or 76.99%, of the total Overseas Chinese visitors.

- Mode of transportation and port of entry: There were 351,869 visitors, 98.46%, by air of whom 281,450, or 78.76%, through the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, 32,117, or 8.99%, through Kaohsiung Airport. Meanwhile, there were 5,488 visitors, 1.54%, by sea, 2,269 people, or 0.63%, through Kaohsiung port, 2,174 people, or 0.61%, through Keelung, 177 people, or 0.05%, through Taichung.
- Gender: Male visitors accounted for 51.15% (182,786 people) while female were 48.85% (174,571 people).
- Age: There were 20,066 (5.62%) visitors under 19-year-old, 197,980 (55.40%) between 20 to 39-year-old, 99,213(27.76%) between 40 to 59-year-old, and 40,098(11.22%) over 60-year-old.
- Purpose of visit: The main purposes are Leisure, business, and relatives visiting with 175,384 (49.08%), 22,527 (6.30%), and 12,889 (3.61%) visitors.
- Length of stay: Most of visitors, 75,014 people or 21.25%, stayed for 3 nights. Visitors staying 2 nights, 55,270 people or 15.66%, ranked second. Visitors staying 5-7 nights, 48,483 people or 13.73%, ranked third. The average length of stay of visitors leaving in February was 7.79 nights.
