National Scenic Area Operations and Management

  • Land acquisition: Based on the project requirements, carry out operations to acquire land for tourism and recreation purposes in the Scenic Area, including land allocation, purchase price negotiation with landowners, etc.
  • Preliminary planning and design: Conduct preliminary planning; resource survey; research for development, operation, and management strategies; and construction project design for the recreation sites.
  • Tourism service systems: Improve and optimize hardware and software for tourism service facilities, improve the inventorying and construction of cycling service facilities, build comprehensive bike tour environments, and promote the southwest coast’s tourism highlights. Moreover, combine the area’s major transport routes with Provincial Highway No.61, Provincial Highway No.17, and stops along Taiwan Tourist Shuttle routes to provide tourists with connections to attractions within the National Scenic Area at major transport nodes.
  • Environment and facilities maintenance: Carry out regular maintenance, inspection, and cleaning of recreation site buildings and facilities to ensure visitors’ safety.
  • Area-wide disaster recovery and general small-scale works: Carry out area-wide emergency repairs after disasters, public facilities renovation, facilities maintenance and management, etc.
