Adviser to Ho Chuang-Shi Chinese Calligraphy Foundation; Professor, Dean and Chair of the Department of Fine Arts as well as the Dean of the College of Fine Arts of Taipei National University of the Arts; Visiting Professor of The National College of Art and Design of Ireland and Dongguk University of Korea; and part-time Professor of National Taiwan Normal University. A Review Committee member of National Art Exhibition, Provincial Art Exhibition, County and City Art Exhibitions, Sun Yat-sen Literature and Art Award, and National Award for Arts.
An Evaluation and Collection Advisory Committee member of Taipei Fine Arts Museum, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, and Dr. National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.
Personal Chinese calligraphy and painting exhibitions held at Taipei Fine Arts Museum, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Kaohsiung Cultural Center, Chester Beatty Library and Gallery of Oriental Art in Ireland, Taiwan Soka Association, National Tainan Living Art Center, and joint exhibitions held for multiple times in Taiwan and overseas.

Description:
The vista granted by the nature can cultivate one’s sentiments. After the artist watched the scenery, he places his thoughts and emotional reaction in the Chinese calligraphic work to express his passion in his heart for the customs and environment of Taiwan. The most realistic description of Liujia can be found in these lines, “Blue ripples move across ten thousand hectares. Water light extends to the sky.”
Appreciation:
The brush strokes of this work run smoothly and freely. When the whole work is viewed, the written part actually covers a wide area, so it presents the landscape’s beautiful spaciousness. The work has kept the classical charm, but does not lack the artist’s personal distinctive style.
Translation:
Rows of trees in Wushan surround the water mirror.
They cover ten thousand acres of land under the clouds up high.
When finding the source, I look down at the corals in the lake.
Then I come to realize why Chiayi and Tainan are so renowned amongst the people far and near.
