國立臺灣師範大學美術學系
紐約市立藝術大學藝術研究所碩士
現任國立台北教育大學人文藝術學院院長、藝術與造形設計學系所專任教授、藝術跨域整合博士班專任教授、台灣美術院院士、台灣今日畫會會員。
作品廣獲日本、美國、法國、澳洲及台北市立美術館、高雄市立美術館、國立台灣美術館、奇美博物館、葉榮嘉美術館、台北醫學大學、中央研究院、逢甲大學、德國文化中心、郭木生文教基金會…等公私立機構及私人所典藏。
KUO, BO-ZHOU
1960 Born in Xigang Township, Tainan County.
Education:
Department of Fine Arts, National Taiwan Normal University.
Master, Graduate Institute of Arts, The City University of New York.
Currently he serves as the Chair of the College of Humanities and Arts as well as a full-time Professor of both the Department of Arts and Design and the Doctoral Program of Technology and Art Cross-Domain Integration Studies Workshop of National Taipei University of Education, an Academician of Taiwan Academy of Fine Arts, and a member of the Association of Taiwan Artist Today.
His works have been extensively collected by public and private institutions and individuals, such as different art museums in Japan, the United States, France and Australia, as well as Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Chimei Museum, Ye Rong-Jia Fine Arts Museum, Taipei Medical University, Academia Sinica, Feng Chia University, Goethe-Institut Taipei, Kuo Mu Sheng Foundation … etc.

觀賞關子嶺的風景，將會跳舞的森林表現在書法視覺中使用大膽淋漓的筆墨線條詮釋其意境，並發展出有別於傳統方式、布局來作呈現。
賞析：
以行草為主筆，墨色淋漓多變不刻意布局安排的表現方式，於畫面上大筆書寫呈現氣勢滂沱之勢，寫意內涵流露真實，就像舞蹈動作般流利。

Description:
After watching the scenery of Guanzilin, the Chinese calligrapher gives a representation of the dancing forest in the vision of Chinese calligraphy. He confidently splashes the ink lines to interpret his artistic conception of the scene, and develops an unconventional way and composition to present the artistic conception in the work.
Appreciation:
The words of semi-cursive script are presented in a way that they are free from inhibition, full of changes, and without deliberately arranged layout. Large brush-stroke writing on the paper reveals a grandeur torrential momentum, but truthfulness unfolds in the inner details of each word. The two characters seem to be dancing so fluidly.
