Description:
The work borrows the poem of a poet of Tang Dynasty, WANG, BO, to narrate the folk culture and customs of Dongshan.  The tangling continuous strokes show that the words and lines are both written and painted vividly as if they are coming to life.  Through the design concept of the Oriental elements, the artist returns to his Chinese calligraphic creation, and displays a unique style of his own.
Appreciation:
The arrangement of continuing strokes has presented such a Chinese calligraphic work with a touch of design.  The changes and difference in the dark and light ink are immense.  The creative mode and organization with fully occupied space reveal the Chinese calligrapher’s personal style.  The strong development of his subjective consciousness distinguishes this work from the style and composition of traditional Chinese calligraphy.

Transcription:  Chanting breeze, WANG, BO.
The lingering cool breeze blowing dispersed the heat deep in the forest, making me feel refreshed.
The dissipating clouds allowed me to find the people living by the stream, and mists swept away revealed the houses in the mountains.
Although she came and went without leaving traces, she served and worked as if she was enthusiastic and attentive.
After the sun set, the mountains and rivers became calm, and she sang a song of pine to you.
Artist’s seal:  Border.  WANG’s seal.  YAO-DE.
