Description:
On the solid traditional foundation, the Chinese calligrapher explores more possibilities in the work.  Classical meaning is mixed with the explorations and experiments of the local agricultural crops in Dongshan.  The paired matching of characters presents a completely new flavor.
Appreciation:
Clerical script is added with the brush strokes of semi-cursive script; and elegance is mixed with a little bit of zest.  In the writing process, the Chinese calligrapher makes changes, and combines them with his personally and exclusively constructed artistic symbols to develop an idiosyncratic appearance derives from the ancient people’s writing style but simultaneously diverges from their features.

Translation:  Know the pleasure of tasting coffee.   Every bean is hard labor of farmers.
Identification:  Watch coffee beans sundried in Dongshan.  Work of DU, ZHONG-GAO.
Artist’s seal:  Enjoyment extends life.  Living what your heart desires.  DU, ZHONG-GAO’s seal.
