Description:
Having practices since his childhood, the calligrapher presents his spiritual and dynamic brushstrokes, maintaining a balance between tradition and modernity, and conveys his experience of traveling Baihe.  His mindset in writing Chinese calligraphy has changed to be seeking rules from the pleasure of writing Chinese calligraphy, thus increasing the sense of delight in this work.
Appreciation:
This work reflects a sense of calmness created by the calligrapher.  The calligraphy style conveys his artistic conception for Baihe.  The strokes are both elegant and firm, and the brush strength is quite powerful.  The cursive and semi-cursive scripts here derives from the robust style of the Stone Drums script.  They strive for changes but do not stay away from the rules, and this is an aim of development in modern Chinese calligraphy art.
