Date:113-11-12 Hits:23

On November 8, the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area (NCGNSA) convened  the Crown Coast Exchanges Meeting. Representatives from over 40 institutions, including local governments, the academic circle, tourism industry associations, and tourism industry-related business partners, gathered to share their cooperation achievements, discuss marketing strategies, and offer their suggestions for such strategies. Through exchanges, they analyzed the future development of both domestic and international tourism markets and put forward plans to promote regional tourism  growth and industry transformation.

NCGNSA Director Chen Yu-chuan emphasized that main reasons for promoting the Crown Coast are to transcend regional boundaries and to foster partnerships across various regions and domains in order to collaboratively promote the area’s attractions  and to facilitate the development of the overall tourism ecosystem. The Crown Coast Exchanges Meeting, themed around the “3S” (i.e., strength, sustainability , and suggestion), provided a platform for in-depth discussions on strategies tailored to the North Coast and Guanyinshan regions to enhance the depth and breadth of the tourism industry. Additionally, in response to the flourishing cruise ship market, NCGNSA is actively integrating the tourism industry’s resources into cruise travel planning, targeting fly-cruise travelers and positioning the Crown Coast and the northern region as premier repeat-visit destinations for travelers.

During the meeting, the “Top 10 Crown Gifts Awards” was held, where trophies were presented to businesses selected for their exceptional contributions to the Crown Coast. The “Crown Gift Pack,” featuring the top 10 crown gifts selected by experts and the public, was presented to showcase the unique charm of the Crown Coast. Also, six businesses that participated in this year’s industry coaching program shared their coaching achievements, which included facilitating collaboration amongst stores, optimizing store spaces and service quality, and introducing travel packages, sustainable gift sets, and new meals. These efforts elevated both the software and hardware capabilities of stores.

To further assist local businesses in leveraging mobile payment services, the Crown Coast has partnered with LINE Pay to launch a promotional campaign. From now to November 24, visitors can search for Crown Coast-designated stores on “LINE Good Deals Map” to redeem coupons. With a minimum purchase of NT$200 per transaction via LINE Pay, visitors can enjoy a NT$30 discount.
