Date:113-11-09 Hits:18

To promote the magnificent landscapes of Taiwan’s North Coast, on November 9 (Saturday), the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area  hosts  the “Beautiful Expanse of North Coast and Guanyinshan” small joint art exhibition opening event at the Yehliu Visitor Center . The exhibition invites the public to come and witness the union of art and nature, offering a glimpse into the artists’ feelings during their art-creation processes as well as their captivating works.

This exhibition, jointly held at the Baishawan Visitor Center, Yehliu Visitor Center, Heping Island Visitor Center, Fullon Hotel Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf , Cafe Bayland Mountain , and Hotel BEGINS (in Keelung), introduces various scenic spots of the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area, providing multiple check-in points for tourists. Running through November 30, the exhibition brings visitors closer to art and scenic locations, encouraging them to immerse themselves in art while enjoying the breathtaking North Coast scenery.

Six renowned Taiwanese artists—Chao Kuo-tsung, Ko Hung-tu, Lin Chang-hu, Lee Cheng-ming, Lin Pan-song, and Chuang Lien-tung—have been invited, where they referenced their unique perspectives and utilized their creative styles to present the beautiful scenery of the North Coast. Their works, presented through different media, include those that portray the grandeur of the Heping Island GeoPark, the strangely shaped rocks and stones of the Yehliu Geopark , the romantic ambiance of the Fuguijiao Lighthouse , and the natural allure of the Shimen Cave, Twin Candlestick Islets, Shimen Laomei Green Reef, and Guanyinshan. These masterpieces not only display the North Coast’s diverse landscapes but also leave indelible impressions on visitors.

As part of the opening event, 50 limited-edition art notebooks are distributed as commemorative gifts to visitors.
