[2024 See the Queen's Head Illuminated at Night] opens on June 28. The water curtain fountain water dance show with 300 drones stunned the audience.

The Northguan Office held the opening ceremony of the “2024 See the Queen's Head Illuminated at Night” at Yehliu Geopark on the evening of June 28. The event was officially opened by the “Big Queen's electric light reflection water dance” held in the beach area. As a prologue, for the first time, 300 drones displayed the charming style of the Crown Coast, with images such as the Queen's Head, Candlestick Rock, surfing, and lilies simultaneously presented in the aerial water curtain, creating a visual feast of sea, land and air.

Tourism Administration Director Zhou Yonghui said that Yehliu Geopark is internationally renowned for its unique geological landscape and is a must-visit attraction for tourists in Taiwan. Since the pandemic, the world has promoted sustainable tourism, and Yehliu Geopark also obtained Green Travel Seal (GTS) one-star certification to further align with the international sustainable tourism thereby enhancing its image. In order to show the diverse landscape of Yehliu, the Northguan Office continues to organize the “See the Queen's Head Illuminated at Night” event, using light and shadow technology combined Yehliu’s unique geology, ocean, starry sky and other local elements, as well as music to shape the beauty of the Queen, and showcase the unique style of the north coast at night.

The event will be open to visitors on a limited basis from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm every night from now until July 14. Admission tickets are available at NT$225 for weekdays, NT$250 for holidays, and NT$150 for seniors. Children under 12 years old (inclusive) and persons with physical or mental disabilities can enter for free after presenting valid identification. To purchase tickets online, please go to Taipei Fun Pass, KKDAY, KLOOK, KKTIX, Trip.com, ibon, Cola Tour, Lion Travel and other channels. On entering the park at 6:30 pm visitors can first enjoy the sunset at Yehliu, and after 7:00 pm, as the sky gets darker, the lighting effects are revealed. Everyone is welcome to come to Yehliu to spend an unforgettable romantic summer night.
