The “Crown Coast” promoted by the Northguan National Scenic Area Headquarters has delivered excellent results with the joint efforts of industry, government and academia. A total of 40 stores have participated in the industry-style shaping of the Crown Coast Sightseeing Circle since its inception. This year, six more groups were selected. The results are expected to be completed in October, adding new topics to the Circle.
A total of 30 local operators from Bali, Tamsui, Sanzhi, Shimen, Jinshan and Wanli Districts in New Taipei City and Keelung City, individually or jointly applied to be part of the Crown Coast Industry Image Building event. After intense discussions during the review stage, six groups of operators were finally selected and are expected to carry out projects including the themes of space enhancement, innovative travel itineraries, and brand packaging etc. Northguan National Scenic Area Headquarters Director Chen Yuchuan promised that partners selected to join the Crown Coast Image Building Project this year aim to produce unique and high-quality tourism products. In the future, they will cooperate with each other to connect industry highlights, create a Crown Coast style atmosphere and showcase the diverse features of the Crown Coast. In order to welcome international tourists and increase the repeat visit rate, we also hope to create a passenger bagging rate and achieve mutual prosperity.
The Crown Coast will continue to accept applications from stores wanting to become partner stores this year. In June, five new partners will be added in Tamsui District, Jinshan District in New Taipei City and Keelung City in food, accommodation, tourism, and shopping categories. From now to September 15, 2024, legally established tourism industry-related stores located in Wugu, Bali, Tamsui, Sanzhi, Shimen, Jinshan, Wanli in New Taipei City and Keelung City are invited to join the Crown Coast and create a tourism corridor to attract domestic and foreign tourists.
