As classic works created by skillful European and American artists have been made into landmark check-in points for promotional and publicity purposes, these are used to attract tourists to visit and take photos to check-in. The Northguan Headquarters plans to introduce artistic aesthetics at scenic spots in its jurisdiction and turn these into tourism check-in points. It invited well-known contemporary Taiwanese artists to paint the beautiful scenery and then combined art with the scenic spots, in the hope of improving visitor’s appreciation of life aesthetics and making art an integral part of life. This creates sightseeing value and offers visitors unforgettable experiences.
The Northguan Headquarters invited six well-known Taiwanese artists to paint scenic spots and establish tourism check-in points, combining space with artistic creation, turning the natural scenery into lifelike “art works” that can be experienced and felt in person. It is hoped that with the launch of this project, the unique and magnificent scenery unique to Northguan Scenic Area will be expertly illustrated by artists providing the ultimate visual enjoyment extending from reality to imagination.
In addition to retaining beautiful scenery through the artists' paintings, it is also planned to turn the painting locations of the six artists into visitors check-in points in the form of replica paintings, creating an art sightseeing map for visitors interested in art tours; at the same time, it will in line with the fashion of the digital era be combined with social media such as IG, Facebook and others, to increase the benefits to the tourism industry with multiple marketing methods that reflect the trends of the times.
The scenic spots that the artists plan to paint are Twin Candlestick Islets, Yehliu Geopark, Heping Island Geopark, Laomei Green Reef, Fuguijiao Lighthouse, Shimen Cave and Guanyin Shan in Beiguan Scenic Area.
