From April to June this year, the Northguan National Scenic Area Headquarters will hold the “Guanyin Eagle Watching Fun Walking Series,” with “Light Travel on Guanyinshan” as the main theme, including numerous events; guided tours, treasure hunts, market activities and handicraft courses on the birds of prey, trails, culture, history and landscape of Guanyinshan, encouraging visitors to enjoy the relaxing mountains and forests, while experiencing the natural beauty of Guanyinshan.
From April 14th to June 30th, there will be various Guanyinshan trail routes for the pubic to explore as part of the [Mountain Treasure Hunting Fun - Trail Digital Stamp Collection Fun Event] while enjoying the mountains and forests. Hike the 7 Guanyinshan trails and collect gems, get a digital certificate and the chance to receive the 2024 Guanyin Eagle Watching limited commemorative badge (only 1,000 available). There will be 8 family roaming tours and 2 cultural and historical professional guided tours, as well as a hiking event - [Hundred People “Hike” in the Mountain], inviting 100 people to hike the Jianhaoling Trail, become a tough mountain hiker and reach the peak.
In order to familiarize more people with the beauty of Guanyinshan, Northguan National Scenic Area Headquarters came together with travel agencies, Taiwan Tourism Buses and other operators to launch Guanyinshan package tours. These come with a dedicated tour guide to introduce the natural habitat and cultural stories of Guanyinshan, but visitors can also go to “Laomei Green Reef,” selected by CNN as one of the top eight secret places in Taiwan, for its unique landscape of emerald seaweed covering the rocks in the water. Visitors are guaranteed to return home satisfied.
