They jointly promoted Yehliu Geopark and Izu Peninsula Global Geopark tourism with Northguan National Scenic Area Headquarters, and looked forward to continued exchanges to promote the mutual visits of tourists.

In order to promote international tourism, Northguan National Scenic Area Headquarters and the Yehliu Geopark management team have established sister and friendship parks with various international geopark partners in recent years. Currently, they have signed agreements with 3 Japanese geoparks and 4 Chinese geopark/tourism areas as sister parks and maintain friendly relations with 6 geoparks in Japan, one of which is Izu Peninsula Global Geopark. Yehliu Geopark and Izu Peninsula Global Geopark have conducted many mutual visits and exchanges. The Japanese side has also participated in several Yehliu Night Tours events and markets to enhance the exchange of academic and educational resources and promote mutual marketing.

"Yehliu Geopark" has very precious and unique natural landscapes. Among them, the Queen's Head is not only a memory shared by many Taiwanese, but has also become one of Taiwan’s most famous international tourist attractions in recent years. "Izu Peninsula Global Geopark" is home to famous volcanic island terrain in Japan, including Mishima City, Shimoda City, Izu City, Atami City, Kawazu City and 15 other cities and towns. The area is famous for its hot springs, seafood, and unique geological landscape.
