The Northguan National Scenic Area Administration renovated the old dormitories at Guoshengpu, adding recreational space and service facilities while also preserving existing natural and cultural landscape and ecological resources. This transformed the area into the most beautiful secret in Yehliu, connected to the leisure corridor of Jinshan, Yehliu and Green Bay. It has since become an iconic recreational space at the west end of Yehliu Cape, and received the gold award in the Best Environment & Culture Category at the "2023 FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Awards.
Guoshengpu is located on the west side of Yehliu Cape, with mountains, sea and rich ecological resources. On this occasion, The Northguan National Scenic Area Administration focused on "sustainability" as the theme of tourism development, respecting nature and symbiosis with the environment. This involved retaining sea patrol posts and bunkers, revitalizing the interiors and exteriors of old camps in Guoshengpu, while adding rest service facilities and accessible recreational routes, with a green transportation-scenic spot shuttle bus service provided by Taiwan Tourist Shuttle (Crown Coast), to promote sustainable sightseeing and low-carbon tourism.
