The lunar new year already came to an end and most people have started to work. Nevertheless, some of them have not gotten back into work mode and still want to get relaxed on weekends. Therefore, Hsinchu-Miaoli shopping district of Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area has launched a discount activity after the lunar new year: For those who become LINE Friends with Hsinchu-Miaoli shopping district will get a NT$100 discount coupon!

 

Hsinchu-Miaoli shopping district is located in the northwest of Taiwan, including Neiwan of Hsinchu; and Tongluo and Nanzhuang of Miaoli. Known as an important settlement of Hakka people, this area has not only numerous traditional delicacies, but also many stores that offer characteristic delicacies and souvenirs, attracting tourists to visit the place.

In response to the trends in the post-pandemic era, local stores have successively introduced multi-payment services, including those of JKOPAY and LINE PAY, enabling citizens to make a payment by scanning the code with their mobile phone! Besides, local stores have launched an additional discount for purchases after the lunar new year: From now on, those who become LINE Friends with Hsinchu-Miaoli shopping district will get a NT$100 discount coupon! In addition, those who make the payment through the multi-payment channel GTPAY in designated stores will get an additional discount coupon of NT$150! Let’s go to the shopping district to buy what you want on this weekend!

You can go to Tongluo to have a “dessert healing journey” by eating Dorayaki and cheese tart; enjoy the  characteristic “Sichuan-style Japanese set meal”; and buy all types of souvenirs as you wish! You can also stay in a local B&B at night without coming back-and-forth; or go to Neiwan old street to buy candies and snacks. Apart from stores that offer local delicacies, Nenzhuang, including the leisure agritourism center, also offers the same discount.
