Changhua, including Zhutang, Erlin and Pitou, with their romantic and fiery red kapok trails, has silently entered its flowering period.
The kapok trails in Zhutang, situated on the banks of the Dongluo River at the Pitou and Erlin sections, has turned a stunning shade of red. The highly anticipated 2023 Legend of the Water God Kapok Festival at Zhutang Township debuts today and tomorrow. Visitors can enjoy a visual treat to a mesmerizing red corridor stretching along river banks.
Golden Trumpet-tree
It is the perfect season to appreciate beauty of golden trumpet trees now. A golden corridor hides on Zhangnan Road (Taiwan Provincial Highway 14D) in Fenyuan Township, extending from Zhangnan Road all the way to Baozang Temple. It is hailed by passers-by as the most beautiful road scenery.
In addition, in Changhua, Hsichou Section of Taiwan Provincial Highway No.1, Kengneikeng Forest Trail on Shanchiao Road of Ershui, Hsichou Park, Chongyi Road in Shetou, Chaoshing Community in Shetou, all offer fantastic views of the golden trumpet trees.
Hollyhock Flower Sea
The splendidly colorful hollyhock flowers can be found in abundance at the Tianchong Pottery Park and Yuanlin City, where visitors can take a leisurely stroll through a sea of stunning hollyhocks. Tianchong Pottery Park offers a unique experience of pottery making and porcelain plates painting. Yuanlin City is renowned for its taller-than-human floral maze.
Pink Shower Tree
For those who seeaking a hidden gem for flower viewing, this spot, situated at Yuanchuan Section of County Highway No.152 in Ershui and in proximity to Yuanchuan Police Station, is the place to go. This breathtaking destination doesn't just captivate the hearts of flower enthusiasts, but also leaves train aficionados absolutely spellbound.
Ershui Township Office built a bike lane along the Jiji Line and planted pink shower trees along the lane. During the flowering season, tourists can be seen leisurely biking through the pink flower corridor. If you are able to forecast the exact time when the train passes, you can luckily witness the stunning sight of a train passing through a tunnel of flowering pink shower trees.

Chinaberry flowers are commonly called ‘a delicate beauty’. They exude slightly sweet fragrance and the best viewing spot is located near Daduxi Baseball Field.
