The Merida Changhua Classic 100K cycling event will be launched on April 8. Being proactive in promoting sports tourism, the Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Administration Office (hereinafter referred to as the Office) continues to co-organize the “Merida Changhua Classic 100K” cycling event. Apart from the 100K cycling event, the Office will give out consumption vouchers as an additional bonus reward to enhance the capacity of local tourism. All cycling enthusiasts are recommended to come to Changhua Ershui Bikeway before the long weekend of Qingming Festival to have a warm up before the 100K cycling event, to relish the picturesque scenery of flowers falling off from pink shower trees along the railway, and to explore local delicacies, culture and historical charm.
Director of the Office Tsao Chung-yu said that this cycling event brought in 5,000 cycling enthusiasts to the region each year, creating a potential for local tourism. Therefore the Office has collaborated with over renowned businesses from the tourism industry, including tourism factories and souvenir shops, in Tianzhong, Yuanlin, Ershui and Shetou to provide consumption vouchers of NTD100 and gifts to participants of this event. Those who use the consumption voucher for their purchase are eligible to join a lucky draw with prizes of a total value of around NTD50,000. Among them, the biggest prize is a full set of cycling jerseys of “Team Bahrain Victorious” valued at NTD11,690.

The consumption voucher is valid from April 1 to April 15.
