"Lishan is located at a high altitude with cool summer temperatures. As it has entered the temperate fruit season, now is a great time to visit Lishan. Pluots, known as a local specialty that marks the start of Lishan's temperate fruit season, have been successively harvested and launched into the market. Oriental plums, yellow wax plums (golden plums), and flower plums all have good yields this year, but only for a period of two to three weeks. Therefore, the Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Administration Office (hereinafter referred to as the Office), which promotes local characteristic farmers' travel, calls on citizens to visit Lishan for a summer retreat and enjoy pluots, and to purchase Lishan’s temperate fruits using the home-delivery service on its website. Director Tsao Chung-yu said that Lishan’s Asian pear, honey apple, and honey peach are known domestically and internationally, and the temperate fruits, which have their season  unveiled by pluots, are exceptionally sweet with a unique taste. Nevertheless, as the harvest period of high-mountain fruits is relatively short, visitors must cherish the opportunity to taste them.

Lishan has beautiful scenery with distinct seasons throughout the year. Every year, from June to the end of the year, Lishan enters the fruit season: from Lishan plutos in June to honey peach in July and August, oriental pear in September, honey apple in October and November, and persimmon and yellow pear in November and December, Lishan's agricultural products are quite popular on the market. Lishan itself is also a popular spot for a summer retreat during the vacation. Apart from enjoying the beautiful scenery of the high mountains, visitors can also explore Lishan as suggested by the Office. For example, the “Wedding above the Clouds” event to be held at Lishan from October 6 to 7 offers visitors the opportunity to experience the joy of a high-mountain wedding; and when December arrives, visitors can also enjoy the Christmas holidays and even welcome the first dawn of the New Year in Lishan!
