The key focus of the “Miaoli County Nanzhuang Osmanthus Alley Environment Regeneration Project” is located at the Nanzhuang Old Street at 9K of Taiwan County Highway 124 in Nanzhuang Township, Miaoli County. Over the years, the Miaoli County government has taken a proactive approach in promoting diverse infrastructure development and tourism activities to integrate various tourism resources, aiming to foster an exquisite travel experience in the region. Among these sites, Osmanthus Alley has stood out as a popular scenic spot in Miaoli County. It has not only undergone continuous repairs, maintenance and renovations on both weekdays and weekends, but the government has also consistently cleared the weeds along both sides of the alley to ensure its pristine condition.



Lin Yen-fu, Director of the Miaoli County Culture and Tourism Bureau, stated that the "Miaoli County Nanzhuang Osmanthus Alley Environment Regeneration Project" has been successfully completed. He said that this project not only involved the installation of pedestrian flow detection systems at the main entrances and exits of the old street, but also included upgrading the walls in the middle section of Osmanthus Alley to create a completely transformed ambiance. Additionally, pandemic-related facilities have been installed in Osmanthus Alley to ensure and enhance the safety and experience of visitors. Reputed as the "Garden Mountain City", Nanzhuang Township is a renowned national leisure and tourist destination. Miaoli County warmly invites people from across the nation to visit Nanzhuang Old Street with their families, where they can enjoy the scenic beauty of Nanzhuang's flowers and immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage and folklore of the Osmanthus region.
