The U.S. MUSE Design Awards announced the list of winners for Q2, 2023. The Office's design of five installation art pieces, themed "Embracing a Leisurely Pace", for the "2023 Nanzhuang Flower Festival" in Lion's Head Mountain Scenic Area (also known as the Shitoushan Scenic Area) of Nanzhuang in May of this year (2023), earned the highest honor, the "Platinum Award", in the "Concept Design" category. This achievement adds another accolade to Nanzhuang International Slow City.

Director of the Office, Tsao Chung-yu, expressed that, oriented to the spirit of sustainability, Nanzhuang Flower Festival has integrated various elements, including community beautification, local co-creation, green long-term care, and local characteristics and culture. Themed on "Embracing a Leisurely Pace", it metaphorically likens the alleys to travelers' picture books and gained the favor of the judges through collaborative creation with elderly residents from local long-term care units, local artisans, and community residents. The Office will continue to build Nanzhuang's aesthetics of alleys to develop even more possibilities of combining local organizations' cultural creations.

The Office also pointed out that Lion's Head Mountain Scenic Area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area and spans five townships between Hsinchu County and Miaoli County, boasts plenty of tourism resources, abundant natural ecology, unique humanities and culture, and local traditions. The Office welcomes people from all over the nation to visit and enjoy the diverse landscapes and the beauty of the four seasons in Lion's Head Mountain Scenic Area!
