We invite everyone to experience the beautiful voice of nature of the Great Lishan Tribes through the singing and dancing of the Lishan children!
The director of the Headquarters, Chung-Yu Tsao, stated that Joanna Yang, the president of the "Ciao, JOANNA," has been teaching Lishan children to sing twice a month since 2018. During this period, she integrated jazz and flamenco styles into Atayal's ancient folk songs, creating music that combines world style and is full of Atayal spirit. She hopes more people will come together to sing the ancient folk songs of Atayal!
According to the Headquarters, the ancient Atayal folk songs passed down in the tribe for a long time are unknown in age. However, most tribal elders will sing this melody, hoping to pass down the Atayal language and culture to the future through the younger generation's transmission of the ancient folk songs. The Headquarters continues to actively guide the tribe, develop tribal tourism, and simultaneously promote the legalization of homestays, local cultural tours, and sustainable tourism development. We also hope that through Atayal's beautiful voice of Lishan, more people can understand and fall in love with Lishan and create a distinctive literary travel destination.
