The first daylily of the Hushanyan Recreation Area in Huatan, Changhua, is a sister flower with two blossoms on one stem bloomed on April 7, and we expect it to enter full bloom around Mother's Day in May, which leads to a sea of golden flowers.
The Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters jointly held an opening press conference with the Hushanyan Recreation Area Temple Management Committee today to announce that the daylily flower season will enter its entire bloom period and invite tourists from all over the country to come to Hushanyan Recreation Area to enjoy the flowers and celebrate Mother's Day! The daylilies of Hushanyan Recreation Area belong to the "Taitung No. 7" variety and are the earliest to bloom in western Taiwan. It blooms twice during its flowering period and is expected to bloom until the end of June.
TSAO, CHUNG-YU, the Director of the Headquarters, gave a speech about planting daylilies in the Hushanyan Recreation Area, which has entered its seventh year. He was very grateful to the landowners for providing land and even more so to the Hushanyan Recreation Area Temple Management Committee and many volunteers for their efforts and care, which made the half-hectare Daylily Flower Sea a national tourist attraction. Director TSAO said that the daylilies of Hushanyan Recreation Area have become an essential event in the tourism industry in April and May. Touring buses from various counties and cities have driven into the Hushanyan Recreation Area since mid to late April. The daylily flower sea in the recreation area amazes visitors, who call them beautiful!
The headquarters also eagerly invites tourists to enjoy the flowers, offer incense, pray at the Hushanyan Recreation Area Temple, and visit various scenic spots in Huatan and Changhua. People who come to appreciate the flowers can also arrange to go to Changhua to enjoy the flowers, especially a trip to the Roundhouse to taste local delicacies! Tung blossoms are in full bloom along the adjacent Baguanshan. Therefore, people can also ride on the Ershui Bikeway to enjoy the flowers and experience the pleasure of chasing the train!
