This picturesque pink flora corridor, adjacent to the Jijiline of the Taiwan Railway, offers a captivating sight. To experience this beauty firsthand, the Headquarters suggests taking the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle－Water Running and Fortune Blessing Route”. You can board this route at THSR Changhua Station in Tianzhong, Tianzhong Railway Station, or Ershui Railway Station. Alight at “Yuanquan Police Station” to conveniently reach the scene without the need to find a parking space. You can also rent a bike outside Ershui Railway Station to reach the Yuanquan Police Station. This pleasant 15 to 20-minute ride along the Ershui Bikeway allows you to enjoy the scenery and indulge in local delicacies along the way.
Director of the Headquarters, Tsao Chung-yu, expressed that, to facilitate citizens’ trips to scenic spots in Changhua and Nantou, the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle－Water Running and Fortune Blessing (Tianzhong-Ershui) Route” was officially launched on January 1, 2024. This route starts from THSR Changhua Station and passes through Tianzhong Railway Station and Ershui Railway Station, connecting scenic spots in Tianzhong, Ershui, and Zhushan of Nantou. Among them, the most popular one is the Ershui Pink Shower Tree Trail. Visitors can take photos of the beautiful railway Sakura and then visit Zhushan Zinan Temple to seek wealth. Those planning a two-day trip can also opt for an economical and convenient option: Stay at a legal B&B in Zhushan Township and then take the Xitou Route or Sun Moon Lake-Xitou Route of the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle to visit Xitou, Sun-Link-Sea Forest, and Sun Moon Lake the next day.

The Headquarters expressed that, for citizens from other cities and counties who wish to enjoy the blooming pink shower trees in Ershui by taking the bus, they can take the THSR to Changhua (THSR Changhua Station) in Tianzhong and then board the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle－Water Running and Fortune Blessing (Tianzhong-Ershui) Route” to reach the Yuanquan Police Station to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the pink shower trees along the railway. Then, at noon, they can visit Zinan Temple to pray for good fortune and wealth, and indulge in local delicacies such as urn chicken, sweet potato bun and bamboo shoot bun. Visitors can also enjoy a half-price discount by taking the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle bus with an e-ticket (EasyCard or iPass). The Headquarters urges all citizens to visit Ershui as soon as possible before the end of the blooming season.
