The Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters (hereinafter referred to as the Headquarters) said that there are over 500 plum trees located near the Hushanyan Temple, within the jurisdiction of Baguashan. Apart from the pure white plum blossoms that have been blooming successively since January, around 80% of the pink and delicate cherry blossoms have also bloomed in this area. Besides, the blooming Handroanthus chrysotrichus along Zhangnan Road in front of Baozang Temple in Fenyuan has become a hotspot for taking photos. The Headquarters welcomes people from all places to visit Baguashan in spring and enjoy the beauty of the flowers.
Director of the Headquarters, Tsao Chung-yu, said that the area nearby Hushanyan temple in Huatan Township, Changhua County, is full of plum and cherry blossoms, attracting numerous visitors to visit and stay! The white plum blossoms, whether in clusters or hanging in strings on the trees, complement the pink cherry blossoms, making the park appear as if it were a garden! Next, in April and May, the long yellow daylilies will succeed to bloom, turning the thriving historic site of the "Hushanyan Temple", a third-class historic site, into the hottest scenic spot in Changhua.
To enhance local tourism capacity, the Headquarters have successively planted plum trees and nearly a hundred cherry trees in the Hushanyan Recreation Area over the last two years, and have reorganized the environment. The Headquarters welcomes visitors to pray for blessings at the Hushanyan Temple and enjoy the blooming plum and cherry blossoms to enjoy the romantic atmosphere of spring. Besides, the blooming Handroanthus chrysotrichus along Zhangnan Road in front of Baozang Temple in Fenyuan have become the most popular floral boulevard in Changhua. Every time spring arrives, the Handroanthus chrysotrichus trees bloom with golden flowers under the blue sky and white clouds.
