To bring travelers closer to the attractions, the Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Administration Office (referred to as the Office) began live streaming videos of Lishan Guest House, Range Landscape Pavilion, and Mqoyat-Sakura Affinity Hill on the Office's YouTube channel in 2021. This year, the Office has expanded its offerings to include 4K live streaming of Deji Reservoir. Through the live-streaming video of Deji Reservoir, travelers can enjoy the scenery of Dajia River meandering through the mountains, gaze at the majestic presence of Taiwan's 5th highest mountain - Nanhu Mountain - in the distance, and embrace the sweeping vista of alluvial fan and feel the grandeur of this masterpiece of nature. Moreover, don’t miss the Xinjiayang Suspension Bridge and the aerial lift connecting both riverbanks: The suspension bridge spanning the valley also adds enchantment to the stunning landscape.
At night, apart from the lights of tribal villages, you can also see a sky full of stars in the live-streaming videos on clear nights! Even if you are in a city, by opening the live-streaming video, you can still enjoy the beautiful starry sky. The morning glow at sunrise and the mountains gradually painted in orange at sunset are equally enchanting. If you cannot make it to Lishan to savor this dreamy scenery, you can experience it as if you were there through the real-time footage!
Director of the Office, Tsao, Chung-yu, stated that the Office plans to install live-streaming cameras at both Lion's Head Mountain Scenic Area and Baguashan Scenic Area. The hope is that travers can not only prepare for their journey by checking real-time weather conditions but also experience stunning scenery through online tours.
