The "2023 Wedding in the Clouds" organized by the Office took place in grandeur at the Lishan Jesus Church, perched at an altitude of 2011 meters. Twelve couples from both domestic and foreign backgrounds, including two international marriages with Taiwanese grooms and a couple celebrating their golden wedding anniversary, came to celebrate their romantic weddings amidst the clouds at Taiwan's highest church. With nearly a hundred family members and friends in attendance, the church's bells of happiness chimed, bestowing blessings upon the newlyweds for a lifetime of joy. Taiwan's Tourism Ambassador "Oh Bear" was also invited to attend the wedding to serve as a flower girl who led the couples into the venue, creating a vibrant and joyous atmosphere.
Director Tsao, Chung-yu stated that "Wedding in the Clouds" aims to establish and promote Lishan's tourism brand, with the goal of showcasing the abundant tourism resources of Greater Lishan to both domestic and international audiences through the platform of Lishan Jesus Church. The event also aspires to attract couples from overseas to organize group weddings and take wedding photos together in Lishan, helping to stimulate tourism opportunities in Greater Lishan.
