The work of Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters, Tourism Administration, MOTC to advance ecologically sustainable tourism has been recognized, with the Baguashan Ecology Visitor Center receiving an Excellence Award in the Agency (Organization) Group.
By promoting Grey-faced Buzzard ecotourism in the Bagua Mountain Range, the Headquarters has advanced a collaborative model integrating ecotourism, environmental education, and community participation, helping showcase Taiwan's strengths in ecological conservation and sustainable tourism to the world.
The Headquarters has worked with the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency, MOA, Changhua County Government, Nantou City Office, the Wild Bird Society of Changhua, Nantou City's Yongxing Community, and Da-Yeh University to jointly establish a cross-sector collaboration platform.
The Headquarters has received awards such as the 2019 Pacific Asia Travel Association Gold Award for Marketing and the 2024 Asia-Pacific and Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards. It also successfully helped bring the inaugural World Bird Fair to Taiwan in 2025, raising Taiwan's visibility in international ecological conservation.
