The beloved spokesperson for Taiwan tourism, "OhBear," has a new look! To welcome the spring flower season, combined with the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Service "Tianzhong Zhushan Route," and themed around the most popular scenery of pink cassia in Ershui Township, Changhua County, a new limited edition capsule toy of the OhBear with "Pink Cassia Railway Modelling" launched in January 2026, inviting the public to ride the bus and enjoy the flowers.
This activity aims to encourage the public to make good use of their vacation time and embark on a spring railway trip through public transportation.
The design inspiration for the capsule toy came from the blooming pink cassia (also known as pink shower tree) in Ershui, Changhua, which blooms from late March to mid-April every year. The design team integrated blooming pink cassia, railway imagery, and the cute design of the OhBear to create a limited-edition capsule toy that combined local characteristics with a springtime atmosphere.
The Tianzhong Zhushan Route has a well-planned schedule, suitable for planning one-day or multi-day travel itineraries. By taking public transportation, people can not only avoid traffic congestion and parking troubles but also visit scenic spots and taste local cuisine in a low-carbon, sustainable way, leaving the cutest memories for their spring journey.
