Entering its fifth year, the "Lishan–Guguan Light Art Festival" will open on November 29th at Guguan Park. The Lishan area will also light up the tallest Christmas tree in Taiwan on December 21st to welcome the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays. This year, the Guguan light area features a "Christmas Hot Spring" theme, with a cute-shaped lamp of OhBear bathing in a hot spring, along with snowman, reindeer, and tulip lights, to create a dreamy, festive atmosphere and showcase the hot spring tourism charm of Guguan.

The opening ceremony will be in Guguan Park this year. Besides the themed lighting, the pedestrian walkway outside the Guguan Visitor Center is also illuminated with designs featuring imagery symbolizing Guguan's ecology, such as the aurora swallowtail and the toad lily, creating a magical scene reminiscent of streams and waterfalls. The event has also invited local artisans from Heping District to create lighting displays, placed at the entrance of the visitor center, allowing visitors to take photos and create unforgettable memories.

On Christmas Eve, Santa Claus will appear on the streets of Guguan to interact with visitors, adding to the festive atmosphere. The Headquarters also encourages visitors to stay in Guguan after enjoying the lights, soaking in the warm and comfortable hot springs for relaxation and healing throughout the year.

In the Lishan area, the Headquarters will illuminate two 28-meter-tall cedars in front of the Lishan Guest House this year, accompanied by sound and light effects, creating a highlight in the mountain's night sky. The Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters invites domestic and international tourists to come up the mountain to enjoy the lights and taste the delicious local produce of Lishan, such as persimmons, pears, and honey apples. Visitors are welcome to come to Lishan for a fun-filled experience.
