The New Year countdown has always been a large-scale year-end event in the Heping District, allowing people to choose to celebrate the New Year at Guguan Hot Springs or count down together under the lights of Lishan. We hope the public can experience the joyful and warm atmosphere on-site, use the holiday to experience the local natural beauty and rich Indigenous culture and promote the development of Heping District Indigenous industries.

The four seasons of Fushoushan Farm and Wuling Farm are like paintings, while the Huanshan Hunters' Trail implements the sustainable coexistence of cultural heritage and tourism development. Besides, the Baxianshan National Forest Recreation Area and the Daxueshan National Forest Recreation Area can explore the mountains and forests, inviting tourists worldwide to Taichung to experience the natural phytoncides and the Indigenous tribal culture.
The event links the unique local Atayal culture with the beautiful valley scenery and the Lishan Guguan Light Art Festival held by the Headquarters to create a grand celebration that combines tradition and modernity.
