Baiguoshan Scenic Area in Yuanlin has been renovated by The Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters in recent years, and the longest slide was reconstructed into Baiguoshan Trail Complex, which has been opened in January 2024, and the large number of people has caused damage to some of the facilities. Therefore, The Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters has closed down it in May for improvement, and the curvature of the slide has been reduced, and safety protection has been added, and the project has recently undergone a safety check, and it will be reopened on September 1st.

Baiguoshan Trail Complex was crowded with thousands of visitors on one day during the holiday. Many of them did not comply with the original rules for use by 6 to 12 year olds, which caused safety concerns and damage to the equipment. Considering the safety of visitors, The Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters has closed the area in May this year to carry out improvement works, and finally reopened it on the last day of the summer vacation. After the improvement, the age limit of the facilities has been lowered to 2 to 12 years old, so parents are welcome to bring their kids to enjoy the time together.

The Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters stated that the Baiguoshan Trail Complex was closed on May 20, 2024 for improvement works such as grinding stone slides, and that after the completion of the project, there are five slides in the playground for children from 2 years old to 12 years old! Visitors are welcome to experience the fun of the slides again.
