To provide travelers with budget-friendly and convenient shuttle services, the Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (hereinafter referred to as the Administration) announced that the Taiwan Tour Bus will launch its "one free ticket for every two tickets purchased" promotion for the second time this year. This promotion runs from March 1 to December 31, 2024, and involves 21 travel agencies to offer 76 tour packages. The Administration welcomes travelers to make reservations to enjoy not only the convenience and discounts on travel, but also guided tours to appreciate Taiwan's scenery and secret spots, as well as to indulge in local delicacies.
The Administration expressed that, to activate the national travel market and increase the travel convenience of independent travelers after the border reopening, it has collaborated with the Executive Yuan's promotion of public transportation usage plan to launch public transportation shuttle options for scenic spots. Based on this, the Administration has organized tourism corridors to provide local shuttle services and, through the "one free ticket for every two tickets purchased" promotion, attract domestic and foreign travelers to join local tour packages. The Administration also offers local shuttle services for accommodation pick-up and drop-off and local shuttle services for accommodation reservations, allowing travelers to enjoy convenient and high-quality travel services.
In the meantime, the Administration also organized six in-depth experiential tours themed on "wellness, health, and healing", "cultural heritage", "best Instagram spots", "indigenous cultural experiences", and "exploration of hidden gems" based on travelers' demands. It also integrated the resources of nationwide national scenic areas and tourism circles to provide in-depth experiential activities for scenic spots on both the main island of Taiwan and offshore islands. Travelers can make advance reservations to freely enjoy Taiwan's tourism hotspots and beautiful scenery.
