The Office of the Tourism Bureau, Ministry of the Transportation and Communications (MOTC) cooperates with Taichung Lecheng Temple to launch the “OhBear Love Amulet” blessed by Yue Lao Hall (i.e., the hall that enshrines the God of Marriage and Love).

The western Valentine’s Day (February 14) is around the Corner! The Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Administration Office of the Tourism Bureau, MOTC cooperates with Taichung Lecheng Temple to launch the “OhBear Love Amulet”. The love amulets have been blessed by the Gold of Marriage and Love and will be distributed to the singles who seek a good love relationship. On February 11, 99 love amulets will be distributed at Lecheng Temple’s Yue Lao Hall to couples wishing to have a good love relationship as love amulet also symbolizes a long relationship. The temple’s Fanpage, on the other hand, will also distribute 66 love amulets to singles around the country.

Director of the Office Tsao Chung-yu pointed out that the “OhBear Wealth Amulet” was quite popular and that, as the western Valentine’s Day (February 14) was around the corner, the Office therefore cooperated with the 271-year-old Taichung Lecheng Temple again to launch “OhBear Love Amulet” during the Valentine’s Day period.

Tsao Chung-yu expressed that male and female believers around the country often went to Yue Lao Hall on the second floor of Hanxi Mazu Temple (currently known as Taichung Lecheng Temple) to pray for a good love relationship. The Office therefore cooperates with Taichung Lecheng Temple to put the red thread that has been blessed by the God of Marriage and Love into the amulet, hoping that it will help the singles to stop flying solo and to find their Mr. or Miss Right to have a nice Valentine’s Day. Citizens can also bring the love amulet to Guguan’s Guling Temple to pray for marriage; and to Lishan’s “Qian Ying Garden” (the homonym of “connecting the couple fated to be together”) and “Ying Yuan Hill” (the homonym of “the fate brings lovers together”) to find the happy life during the journey.
