Maolin Seasonal Tea Series: Four Seasons in the Mountain Forest. Maolin National Scenic Area Administration Invites the Public to Experience the Beauty of Indigenous Mountain Tea Culture.
The first event, “Spring Awakening,” symbolizing the renewal of all things, debuted at Xinwei Forest Park during the April holiday period. “Summer Resonance” and “Autumn Harvest” will also be launched in August and September, allowing visitors to experience how the flavor of Taiwan Native Mountain Tea changes with the seasons. The events invite outstanding local tea masters to share the food-and-tea culture surrounding mountain tea and, through professional guidance, lead participants in experiences such as observing color, appreciating aroma, and tasting tea, offering a five-sense introduction to the distinctive qualities of Taiwan Native Mountain Tea.
In addition to the tea banquets, the event also features the “Market on the Mountain”, bringing together food and drinks with local Indigenous character, cultural and creative products, musical performances, and hands-on experiences to present the diverse cultural landscape of the foothill region. By linking the market with the tea banquets, the program enables visitors not only to savor mountain tea, but also to gain a deeper understanding of Indigenous community life and industrial development. This year, a travel safety promotion booth has also been set up, using a “travel safety promotion and visitor interactive prize quiz” activity to enhance public awareness of travel safety.
