The Maolin National Scenic Area Headquarters produced the image video "Liugui Unveiled" based on the products, attractions, and cultural characteristics of Liugui District, Kaohsiung City. It won the Gold Award in the Asian Region of the Japan World's Tourism Film Festival (JWTFF) on March 19, 2025! The film includes Xinwei Forest Park, Shiba Luahan Mountain Rest Stop, and Toyama Watching the Moon Camping Area. There are also cultural landscapes such as Hong Kun Yuan General Store, Ikeda House, Diyuan Temple, and Laonong Pingpu Culture Studio.
The guide in the video, Zhou-Hang Jiang, who is from Liugui, led the audience into the local pepper production area (Shisshan Pepper Garden), honey collection experience (Doo Bird Studio Tour Guide), native tea garden (Xin Yuan Tea Factory), and Yin Family Organic Farm (fruits and vegetables). He also welcomes the audience to visit the friendly small grocery store (Xinfu Grocery Store), the traditional Chinese medicine store with ancient flavor (Taihe Tang Pharmacy), the Qinggan Traditional Pastry Shop, where bakes Chinese traditional pastry every day, the Broom Craft Studio, and the firewood pottery and baking at Mango Tree Cultural Sharing Space.
According to the director of the Maolin National Scenic Area Headquarters, this video provides a close-up recording of the rehearsal process of the Liugui Elementary School Taiko Drum Team and the internationally renowned NibunChorus, inviting tourists to visit Liugui for tourism.
