In response to the growing number of international visitors, Chunghwa Post has officially introduced foreign currency exchange services at the Liuqiu Post Office starting March 20. The service covers Hong Kong dollars, US dollars, Chinese yuan, Japanese yen, and euros, addressing the inconvenience of currency exchange for foreign travelers and enhancing the island’s accessibility and international friendliness.
Providing foreign currency exchange at the post office not only ensures a smoother travel experience for international tourists but also boosts local businesses and the tourism industry, creating a win-win situation. Moving forward, the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Headquarters will continue to implement more international tourism-friendly measures, further establishing Xiaoliuqiu as an attractive low-carbon marine tourism destination.
