The Alishan National Scenic Area Headquarters hosted the "2024 Alishan Four Seasons Tea Tour - Autumn Tea Party" at the Taiping Zhulin (Bamboo Forest) Teahouse and Xiaozilu Trail on September 28, 2024. Combining tea culture and nature, the event featured the "Moonlight Tea Party" as its highlight. The beautiful scenery provided an atmosphere full of autumn flavors for tea enthusiasts.
Tea masters from various village associations, embracing the theme of simplicity, demonstrated their tea brewing skills at the Zhulin Tea House under the bright moonlight and fresh mountain breeze. Each tea setting featured carefully selected Alishan tea, allowing visitors to enjoy its flavors while observing the masters' brewing techniques, listening to professional lectures on tea culture, and deeply appreciating the harmonious connection between Alishan's tea heritage and its natural landscape.
Coinciding with Teachers' Day, the event paid special tribute to educators by presenting a limited edition "Alishan Cloud and Mist teacup" designed by ceramic artist Cai Jianglong. Inspired by Alishan's iconic clouds, mist, and mountains, the design of the teacup reflects a sense of tranquility and ease.
The tea party was accompanied by a lyrical concert, with melodious notes blending with the autumn night breeze and the delicate tea aroma. The venue featured a natural and simple decor in warm autumn tones. Soft lighting added to the cozy, serene atmosphere.
Director Hong Weixin of the Alishan National Scenic Area Headquarters remarked that the Autumn Tea Party was not only a feast for the taste buds but also a sensory journey of visual, auditory, and spiritual resonance. He added, "The event coincides with Teacher's Day. As people reflect on the wonderful teachers in their lives, they can also savor Alishan's fine tea.
