To develop the Southeast Asian market, the Alishan National Scenic Area Headquarters team visited three major cities in the Philippines—Manila, Davao, and Cebu—from July 11 to 18 to participate in B2B promotional events and the Travel Madness Expo.
Two products catered to independent travelers, featuring itineraries connected by easy transportation, were promoted. The Alishan FunPASS offers visitors a two-day chartered car service, taking them to two popular outdoor attractions: Alishan in Chiayi and Sun Moon Lake in Nantou. The cruise-style bus features a bilingual (Mandarin and English) tour guide and fixed-route shuttle buses, allowing tourists to experience the beauty of Alishan in depth. Departing from Chiayi HSR Station and Chiayi Railway Station, the bus stops at Alishan's main attractions, including Eryanping Trail, with Alishan Forest Recreation Area as the final destination. The return journey includes stops at Fenqihu, Zhulu Community/Chukou Visitor Center, and Wenhua Road Night Market. A bilingual (Mandarin and English) tour guide is present on board. Travelers can also book the return journey separately, allowing for more flexibility and cost savings when planning their trips.
