Alishan National Scenic Area Headquarters has been organizing the Alishan Four Seasons Tea Tour for seven consecutive years. It is one of the national-level Taiwan Tourism Events. This year, the results presentation and marketing press conference was held at 1915nizukuriba. A unique tea dance performance was given by Wen Shyang Dance Troupe from Chiayi. In the performance, the "one-tip, two-leaf" essence of Alishan tea and the gentle power of Tai Chi were perfectly blended. The beautiful choreography depicted the growth process of tea leaves in nature, from the first buds to full bloom, symbolizing the heritage and endless possibilities of tea culture, as well as the promising future of the Alishan Four Seasons Tea Tour.
Director Hong stated that tea has always been an important product of Alishan. Although coffee has risen in popularity in recent years, more people in the area remain engaged in tea production. To add value to the tea industry through tourism marketing, Alishan National Scenic Area Headquarters created the "Alishan Four Seasons Tea Tour" brand and trained tea tour experts. Through a series of courses on tea drinks, tea wine, tea ware, tea soap, and tea settings, local operators can identify their unique characteristics and explore new directions. By combining local tourism resources, Alishan's tea culture can be promoted in innovative ways under the new Alishan tourism brand.
The results of this year's tea tour experts training will be showcased at the autumn and winter tea tours (September 16-17, November 23-24). Their learning will be incorporated into the tours, alongside Alishan's local nature and landscape, allowing participants to enjoy fine tea in the seasonal scenery of Alishan. It is hoped that the diverse experiential content and unique tour experience will bring more visitors to Alishan, encouraging them to stay longer and gain a deeper understanding of the charm and essence of Alishan.
