According to the organic statute under which this administration is established, our work responsibilities are:

1. The surveying, planning, development, and conservation of tourism resources, and protection of ecological, geological, scenic, and marine resources.
2. Execution of plans for scenic areas, construction and maintenance of public facilities.
3. Management of tourism , lodging, and recreational public facilities and mountain and marine recreational activities; encouragement of investment in construction and operation by public or private enterprises or institutions.
4. Coordination of construction projects and assistance with building permit matters.
5. Protection of environmental health and prevention of pollution.
6. Maintenance and management of travel order and safety
7. Travel services and interpretation.
8. Promotion of tourism and recreational activities.
9. Coordination of transportation to and from the area.
10. Other matters related to the operations and management of the Scenic Area.
